Christ centered, Develop the Whole Person, and Love
Core Values
Christ Centered.
Everything we do, we do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our minds and hearts. We know that this is the greatest gift we can bring to anyone touched by what we do. Our work is Motivated by His Love, Covered in His Grace and Built in His Power. (Col 1:15-23)
Develop the Whole Person.
We are not looking to come in and take over or come in and leave. We continue to build strong relationships with the people of Uganda so that we can encourage and empower them to become everything God has created them to be. We are looking to develop the whole person within the community so that they are encouraged, equipped and empowered to rise out of an impoverished state mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. In addition to building projects that allow them greater opportunities, we will also be building into them as individuals and a community to see them overcome the many obstacles of poverty. (Colossians 1:3-14 & 28-29)
Love.
We believe that every person is created in the image of God and therefore has a God given purpose beyond ourselves. We want every person – American or Ugandan – to see how they have been called by God to play a part in His Redemptive plan. God’s plan is always about loving Him and others. Both Americans and Ugandans experience brokenness and through the love and power of Christ we can overcome our brokenness everyday we humbly walk with Jesus. (Romans 12:9-21)
